Do you find anything common in all these sentences? These are the examples of true translation of people’s mother tongue to English. People do not realize that the way words are placed in each and every language is very different from each other. But still, they think in their mother tongue and then very happily and skillfully translate the entire sentence into English. Little do they realize that by doing this the entire meaning and gravity of the sentence changes. Instead of the tone being serious it becomes funny (for those who understand English properly). Had Shakespeare been alive, he would have died so many deaths each day.

Chatnewala chat...

This is a regular place we both haunt just to have a plate full of “dahi puris” and “mitha Pani Puri”. He is absolutely amazing. So many years, and still the taste has not diluted. This rajasthani fellow sits near the Diamond point in Secunderabad. He and his son manage the show. It’s simply amazing to see how with in a few minutes he whips up such yummy eatable. Though I don’t deny that there are many more but nothing like theirs.

This is my plate of “dahi puris”. I get water in my mouth just by looking at it. This is a typical way of putting rice puffs stuffed with yummy chane-ka-dal. Topped with dahi (curd) and mithi imli ka pani (tamarind pulp made sweet by adding sugar to it). On top, its decorated with lightly fried fine besan dumplings.
